yet another uninspiring card. will play a few.

r2: the it girl. machowsky very good with two year olds and like the breeding on this one, a granddaughter of red ransom.

r5: remembrances. think this one is the best horse in the race and should go better in here second off the shelf.

that's it folks.

Hey Mazeltrick,
I saw your namesake on the back cover of the form the other day....impressive, sort of like your picks in this forum!
I wonder if you have any thoughts/opinion on the 6th race today? Seems like a good field to me, Leprechaun Kid, Superiority, and Albatros among others! Thanx for your pix, I look for them almost everyday.

Nice post Stew - good to see some appreciation for the work that Mazel puts into his picks - nevermind the fact that he has the cahunas to post them for nothing.

stew,

mazeltrick was the most brilliant horse i've ever seen run. he ran like a wild horse blistering the track in 1:19 and 4/5 when winning the triple bend at hollywood park. he actually looked like he'd break the bridle he was running so hard, so fast. he also could route, dusting off G1 placed budroyale, among others, running a mile and sixteenth in 1:40 and 3/5 at del mar. would've been the favorite for the pacific classic before he got hurt. a real freakshow.

anyway, as for the 6th at anita, it's a real grab bag. albatros is honest, but he seems to lack that winning knack of late. i'd lean to atticus forever, who ran into a real monster in gold sphynx last out; he's in for a tag for the first time, which means one of two things; either this is the money run or he's fallen apart. with no works since the last race, it's a poker game. i'd call the bet and place some money on him.

sds,
thanks for the kind words. i'm just looking to create more fans of racing as well as learn from what other have to offer.
